Real families. Real peace of mind.
We specialize in working with veterans and their spouses to find affordable whole life and final expense plans that fit a fixed income.
“They explained everything in plain English and worked within my Social Security budget. My wife finally has the peace of mind I wanted to give her.”
“I thought the VA covered everything. I was wrong. These folks showed me what would actually be left for my kids to handle and helped me fix it.”
“Honest, patient, no pressure. They took the time to answer every question I had. I wish I had done this 10 years ago.”
Answers, upfront.
Is VetCoverPlan part of the VA or a government agency?
No. VetCoverPlan is a private, licensed insurance brokerage that specializes in serving veterans, their spouses, and their families. We are not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or any government agency.
Doesn't the VA cover my burial costs?
If you’re buried in a national cemetery, the VA covers the plot and headstone. However, that still leaves families with $8,000–$10,000 in additional expenses for the service, transportation, casket or urn, and other costs. Our plans are designed to cover that gap.
Do I need a medical exam to qualify?
No medical exam is required for most of our plans. You’ll answer a few health questions on the call, and our agents will match you with the carrier most likely to approve your application.
What if I already have life insurance?
Many veterans we work with already have some coverage in place. We’re often able to find a lower rate, identify gaps, or recommend a supplemental policy. There’s no obligation to switch.
How much does it cost?
Plans typically start around $30–$50 per month, depending on your age, health, and the coverage amount you choose. We’ll walk you through several options so you can pick what fits your budget.
